AWARD SHOW FAB: The 42nd Annual NAACP IMAGE AWARDS

The 42nd NAACP Image Awards were held tonight at The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, with Prince making a very special appearance.  See what very special award brought the "Kiss" singer out along with pics of a who's who from Halle Berry to Tyler Perry inside...

The ceremony was co-hosted by Wayne Brady and Holly Robinson Peete.

Wayne Brady's face while on stage with Holly Robinson Peete was priceless.  It was great to see them together.

During the pre-awards portion of the show,  Holly won the Outstanding Literary Work - Children' award for My Brother Charlie co-written with her daughter.

And of course Wanye Brady was a constant entertainer all evening.

The show honored some very talented individuals.

Tyler Perry had a big night racking up awards for Outstanding Motion Picture and Outstanding Director in a Motion Picture for the film For Colored Girls.

Terry McMillan won in the Best Literary Work - Fiction category for Getting to Happy.

Regina King won Best Actress in a Drama Series for "Southland."

The Best Writing in a Drama Series award went to Shonda Rhimes.

Prince presented the award for Outstanding Actress in a Motion Picture to Halle Berry.

Halle won for her role in Frankie & Alice. The movie also won for outstanding independent film.

Colin Powell was presented the President's Award.

And during the show, a who' who in Hollywood appeared on stage.

Cicely Tyson and Vanessa L. Williams both looked stunning.

Fab twins Tia and Tamera appeared on stage baring the smiles we have all loved for years.

Benjamin Bratt and Viola Davis were presenters.

Blair Underwood made the audience swoon when he walked on stage.

Kerry Washington and Anthony Mackie were among the presenters.

And Anika Noni Rose and Jason Derulo were presenters.

And the fabulous Angela Bassett looked amazing.

Tyler Perry posed with actress Kerry Washington who starred in his For Colored Girls film.

Halle Berry looked fabulous in Pucci.

It looks like Tyler Perry asked someone for silence so he could listen to the show.
