Potentially following in the footsteps of Jamie Spears, Michael Lohan is reportedly making a bid to gain conservatorship over daughter Lindsay Lohan.
Fresh off of meeting attorney David Chon about the matters, the publicity hungry father of LiLo was spotted chatting on his mobile phone outside Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood on Wednesday (September 29).
The lawyer meet-up pertained to Lindsay - who has just checked into an Orange County rehab facility - as Michael is desperately trying to stop ex-wife Dina or business manager Lou Taylor from taking over the monetary matters because "they're in it for themselves," reports TMZ.
Meanwhile, it sounds as if Papa Lohan has resigned from believing that a judge would grant him conservatorship, so he's planning on offering up alternative candidates in paperwork whjich will be "filed within days".
