While it looked as if she was stuck behind bars, Lindsay Lohan has been released from jail after a Los Angeles Superior Court judge overturned a decision to put the actress back behind bars.
According to reports, LiLo's attorney Shawn Chapman Holley appealed Judge Elden Fox's surprise decision to remand the actress in custody without bail until her October 22 hearing.
From this appeal, Superior Court judge Patricia M. Schnegg ruled the original sentence was legally incorrect because it involved a probation violation for a misdemeanor conviction - and bail should have been an option.
Following the updated decision, Miss Lohan was allowed to walk free after posting $300,000 bail - which carries restrictions forcing LiLo to be fitted with another alcohol-monitoring bracelet while also being subjected to random searches.
