Rachel McAdams: Hard at Work in Toronto
Continuing along with one of her many projects, Rachel McAdams was spotted on the set of ?The Vow? in Toronto, Canada on Tuesday (August 31).
Dolled up in a black dress and hat, the ?Notebook? babe shot several scenes before retreating to her trailer for a much-deserved break.
?The Vow? is based on a true story of a newlywed couple (McAdams and Channing Tatum) who survive a car crash but struggle to keep their marriage alive after the wife loses memory of her husband.
And according to the Hollywood Reporter, ?Felicity? actor, Scott Speedman, is eying the role of the wife's ex-fianc�, who complicates things by rekindling their romance after the accident.

No spoilers here. We have no advance knowledge of what you are about to read. But with the Eminem and Jay-Z stadium concerts launching this Thursday at Detroit's Comerica Park, followed by their appearance September 12-13 at Yankee Stadium, we here at MTV News have started our speculation about who the two titans might bring onstage with them. Let's face it, with Jay-Z, you're bound to see anybody. He doesn't just bring out people with whom he's recorded songs. Hov has been known to bring out superstars who just happen to have a hot record at the time and let them rock with their own mini-set.
Eminem is a little different. His track record shows that he mostly sticks to family at his concerts. So when the shows in the D come around in the next few days, you have to feel that D12 are more than likely a given. We don't know for sure, but we'd bank on it. Could we see Em bringing out his new signees Slaughterhouse? Makes perfect sense. At a minimum, we speculate he'll share some mic time with fellow Detroit ambassador and his friend Royce Da 5'9".
We've made our own dream list of who we'd like to see Jay-Z and Eminem bring out on the stage and rhyme with. We'll see if any of this comes to fruition when their shows launch on Thursday. Sandra Bullock on How She Kept Her Adoption Process a Secret
In her first TV interview since her divorce from Jesse James, Sandra Bullock opened up to "Today" show host Matt Lauer about how she kept her four-year adoption process a secret from the media.
"He's a little Cajun cookie," the Oscar-winning actress said of her New Orleans-born son Louis Bardo Bullock. "We don't have any boys in our family. Boy, is everyone really happy about that. So, he's like the crown prince."
Bullock revealed in April that she had gone through a four-year adoption process before she was able to bring home baby Louis in January, and she did all this without the media finding out. On how she was able to keep the adoption process a secret from the press, Bullock told Lauer, "It takes-- it takes good people with integrity. I mean, I read something like, how did someone keep a secret, and it's-- you know-- human beings exist that have integrity that know how to keep their mouth shut. ... But I was blessed with the same friends I've had since before things got really special for me and blessed in life."

The 2010 Primetime Emmy Awards is definitely an event to behold, but the after parties are just as much fun.
And according to E!, some of the stars of ?True Blood? spilled some details regarding the highly-anticipated season finale.
Joe Manganiello leaked, "There's going to be a lot of blood. And a lot of sex. And a lot of people are going to die."
"I am happy with the way [the finale] sets up for next season. I think [the fans] will be pleased at what they find out about Lafayette. There is something to be found out in the finale about LaLa."
Marshall Allman added, "[It's] very shocking on every front. I think they did an excellent job of the cliffhanger this year for my character, for Anna's character, and for Alex's character, too."

Violante Placido, George Clooney's gorgeous co-star in 'The American,' says she and George tried to let their bodies "speak" during their sex scene in the new thriller.
"We had to find a way to make it natural and let your body speak somehow," Placido tells People.com. "We were very open to one another to try and make it work. We just said, 'Let?s trust each other,' and we did. I felt like we had to let ourselves go."
"It had to look real; it is the turning point for the two characters," she continues. "I can tell you that watching it, I don't feel as calm as I did when I was on set filming it. Just watching it is a little like ? wow."

Paris Hilton's Cocaine Bust Mug Shot
Currently out on bond after a late night arrest on Friday (August 27), Paris Hilton's booking mug shot from her Las Vegas cocaine arrest has been released.
Still dolled up in her partying ensemble, the hotel heiress offered up a small smile as she waited for her newly-hired lawyer, David Chesnoff, to get her released on her own recognizance.
Meanwhile, Miss Hilton has since denied that the purse in which police found the illegal substance belongs to her.

Last week, Kanye West tweeted that he's planning to drop a new song every Friday until Christmas. On the first "G.O.O.D. Friday" (August 27), the lyricist announced he has some other new music coming down the pike: 'Ye said he's teaming up with Jay-Z to release a collabo album.
"Me and jay bout to drop a 5 song album called Watch the Throne," West tweeted. A rep for West didn't respond to MTV News' request for comment by press time.
The announcement comes on the heels of a Jay-Z-assisted remix of 'Ye's "Power" hitting the airwaves. After West announced in an August 11 interview that a revamp of the percussion-heavy track featuring Hov would arrive just two days later, the MC got to work on the collabo.
"He definitely, definitely was focused," producer Swizz Beatz told MTV News about 'Ye's hustle to finish the record, which also boasts vocals from John Legend. " 'Cause when he made that announcement, we didn't have what we had. But you know when something feels right and it's time to let something to go."
Jigga and 'Ye's professional relationship goes back years to when the then-upstart producer furnished the Brooklyn MC with hit tracks like 2001's "Izzo (H.O.V.A.)" before eventually signing to his Roc-A-Fella label. Paris Hilton's Sin City Cocaine Arrest
After racking up a pot charge (which was dropped) at the World Cup earlier this summer, Paris Hilton has now been arrested for a possession on cocaine charge in Las Vegas on Friday night (August 27).
With the events taking place outside of the Wynn Hotel, the hotel heiress was the passenger in a car stopped by local police - as the driver,boyfriend Cy Waits, was charged with non-alcohol related DUI.
From there, cops searched Miss Hilton before ending up finding an undisclosed amount of a substance which ended up being cocaine.
Then being booked in jail, Hilton was quickly released on her own recognizance after immediately hiring celebrity Sin City lawyer David Chesnoff - who has defended the likes of David Copperfield, Suge Knight and Vince Neil.
As for the current standing, insiders tell that Paris claims the cocaine was found in a purse which didn't belong to her - though she and her legal eagle will soon have to convince the judge in believing their story.

The words are still as meaningful and penetrating as they were in 2001. T.I. took the stage on Tuesday night at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City and led the audience back to album number one, track 2.
"They sendin' letters home from school, nobody read mines," Tip rapped from "Still Ain't Forgave Myself." "And plus, my uncle's doin' 10 years F.E.D. time/ Then I started rebellin', began crack sellin' / The littlest thang on the corner with a Mac 11 / After school, I hear my mama holla homework / I say, 'aiiiight ma,' but look, I got my own work / Started interacting with fiends at the age of 13 / Now my mama findin' rocks in my socks, glocks in my toy box."
Onstage to tape his episode of "VH1 Storytellers: T.I," the Atlanta MC delivered what was arguably his most intimate performance ever. (The show airs Friday, December 10 at 11 p.m. ET/PT on VH1.)
"I never performed [that song] since it was recorded," Tip told the crowd of track, a standout from his 2001 debut, I'm Serious. The King of the South said it just felt "too personal" to perform before.
"It took years to find the proper stage and proper crowd to present it to you guys," he explained. "Now I think the time is right. Glad to be presenting it to you."
Tip also said that although he would be performing what his fans saw as songs, hits even, for him it was altogether different. "To me, this is my life, my story," he said. "I've lived these things, endured these circumstances."
He went on to reveal the backstory for another early record that he hadn't performed live until that night. "I Still Luv You," Tip explained, was inspired by the mother of his two sons, with whom he started a family as a teenager. The daughter he had by another woman and whom he had kept secret from his family for a while, as well as his relationship with his father also inspired the song, he revealed.
"Motivation," from T.I.'s 2004 Urban Legend, was written in jail. Tip said that stint behind bars was a result of some criminals wrongly implicating him in a crime. As the police searched his house, they found a gun.
"Who would have thought?" he joked. Tip said that the gun was registered to someone else, and he wound up going to jail for a short time. "Oddly enough for me," he laughed. The record itself was inspired by "a rapper who used my dark moment as his bright moment. ... It didn't rub me the right way."
Tip gave us plenty of bright moments, too, during the taping, with performances, in particular, of the smashes "Live Your Life" and "Bring Em Out."

Man Arrested Outside Sylvester Stallone's Home
A man was arrested outside of Sylvester Stallone's Bel Air home on Tuesday, and we have the details.
The LAPD tells us the individual made it on to Stallone's property but didn't get into 'The Expendables' star's home. No injuries were sustained.

Miley Cyrus And Liam Hemsworth Split

Miley Cyrus is ending the summer as a single lady. The teen queen has split from her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth after more than a year of dating.
Hemsworth's PR representative confirmed the "Can't Be Tamed" singer and her beefy Australian beau have officially called it quits. "It's true," the actor's rep told RadarOnline.com. The news comes after reports that the couple were getting serious. According to Radar, Cyrus recently purchased a $3.4 million house, not far from her parents' California home, where Hemsworth was a frequent guest.
Hemsworth and Cyrus struck up a romance after meeting on the film set of "The Last Song" in 2009. The pop star said earlier this year that although she wasn't on the lookout for a boyfriend, Hemsworth won her over with his gentlemanly charm.
"I kind of just wanted to focus on my work. I tend to hide behind my work sometimes," Cyrus said on "Ellen" in March. "But I met him, and he opened the door for me, and I was like, I have been in L.A. for three years and I don't think any guy has actually opened the door for me. It wasn't that he wanted the job. That's just who he is. I was like, 'Wow, that is super-impressive.' I actually turned to the director and said, 'He's got the job.' He's hot and he opened the door. Excellent."
Cyrus, who dropped her latest album, Can't Be Tamed, in June, said that much of the LP was inspired by her romance with Hemsworth.
"There are a lot of songs that are about Liam," Cyrus told MTV News when Tamed was released. "I tell him every one's about him," she quipped.

Swizz Beatz has been busy in the studio lately, working on numbers for Kanye West, N.E.R.D., Mary J. Blige and, of course, his own solo album, Haute Living.
The multiplatinum producer has been tweeting about his long nights recently, but he told MTV News that when you're inspired by a project, there's just no sleep until completion.
"When you're working on albums, nobody sleeps," he explained of all the work piled on his plate. "The excitement of being in the moment of music and having that pressure on you — you got a lot of people waiting on that project, you not gonna sleep either. You want to get it right in your mind, [so] you don't have an appetite, you're not tired. You go into overdrive ... to make the best thing possible.
"That shows how it goes when you work with real artists, you work until it's done," Swizz added. "Sometimes it gets overdone [Laughs]."
Over the weekend, Swizz and Blige connected in the studio and completed four records, according to the Ruff Ryder alum's Twitter messages. He told MTV News that at least one of the songs would see the light of day this week. While Swizz said he's producing a number of songs for her new project, he also revealed that Blige might appear on one track from his forthcoming LP.
While holed up in a New York studio earlier this month, Swizz managed to collaborate with Kanye West on his "Power" remix. His studio session with Pharrell happened to overlap with Kanye's and the three producers wound up working on one another's projects by the end of the night, Swizz said.
"We were in there working on multiple things, [Kanye] was working on a song for my album, I was working with N.E.R.D. in another room for their album, and then the 'Power' remix was still in the works," Swizz explained. "So, at the end of the night, everybody just ended up in both rooms. It was just going from one joint to the other and everyone showing respect to everyone's craft. It was super-dope."

Angelina Jolie is taking her act behind the scenes for her latest project. Jolie will write, produce and direct a film set during the Bosnian War in the early '90s. She is working on the flick with GK Films, which made the announcement on its website.
The film, about a Bosnian woman and a Serbian military man who fall in love during the war, when the Bosniaks and Serbs were fighting each other, will serve as Jolie's feature directorial debut, according to The Hollywood Reporter. GK Films says that actors of "various ethnicities from the region of the former Yugoslavia" will be cast.
Jolie will not be in the film, and filming is expected to take place this fall, with no locations being announced due to security concerns. The Oscar winner, who serves as Goodwill Ambassador for the office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and frequently makes trips to the area, visited Sarajevo last weekend to discuss the refugee situation with some of the country's leaders.
"The film is a love story, not a political statement," Jolie said in a statement released by the UNHCR during her visit to the region last week. "I would like to involve as many local people as possible and learn as much as I can."
GK Films produced her upcoming Johnny Depp co-starring release, "The Tourist," set to hit theaters in December. She is also slated to star in Tim Burton's "Sleeping Beauty" as the film's evil queen, Maleficent, and will assume the title role in "Cleopatra."

'Bachelor Pad''s Gia Allemand: Nikki Stabbed Us in the Back
Gia Allemand, who made it to the final three in Jake Pavelka's season of "The Bachelor," only made it to the third episode of "Bachelor Pad" before being voted out of the mansion. Linkin Park's videos have run the gamut from the massive (the wide-screen visuals of "What I've Done," the exploding soundscapes of "New Divide") to the minimal (the dream-like macro focus of "Somewhere I Belong," the jittery animated world of "Breaking the Habit"), but the majority of them have one thing in common: the dude sitting in the director's chair.
Since their breakout 2000 album Hybrid Theory, Linkin Park DJ Joseph Hahn has also served as the band's primary video director. And that's very much the case with their upcoming video for "The Catalyst," the first single off their much-anticipated A Thousand Suns album (due September 14). But unlike previous efforts, Hahn seemed determined to push his bandmates to the limit this time around, as MTV News found out when we visited the set of the video back in June.
"I think this is a little bit more of an abstract piece than what we've done before," Linkin Park's Mike Shinoda told us. "My voice is a little tired because I'm singing on this one. And it's a lot of singing, it's been a long day, a lot of smoke [being used]. Once again, Mr. Hahn is in the driver's seat, and we have faith in where he'll take us."
And judging from what we saw, Shinoda wasn't exaggerating. Hahn filled "The Catalyst" set with enough smoke to give Cypress Hill pause, and that was just the beginning. Over the course of the day, we watched as he dunked frontman Chester Bennington in a pool of water, bounced his bandmates off trampolines and covered them in layers of multihued dust. It was a pretty grueling — not to mention messy — day ... the kind of thing that required more than a little faith to get through.
Then again, one of the benefits of working with a director who also plays in your band is that you know he's got your best interests in mind. Even if it seems like he doesn't.
"Joe has directed all of our videos since, I think, the second or third one, so he's been doing almost all the videos for our entire career," Shinoda said. "And if it goes well, we pat him on the back, and if it's a pain in the butt, we blame him."
"The Catalyst" video premieres at midnight August 25 (technically, the 26th) on MTV.com and VH1.com, and then on MTV, VH1, MTV2, mtvU, MTV Hits, MTV Tr3s and all MTV international territories at 8 p.m. ET/PT on August 26.

Stepping out to enjoy the Los Angeles, California sunshine, Rachel Uchitel was spotted on the beach earlier today (August 23).
The former Tiger Woods mistress was accompanied by a male friend as they made their way down the shoreline, giving Rachel a bit of a break from the rehab center she?s currently residing at in Malibu.
In related news, Uchitel is being accused of having an affair with Jeremy London, whose estranged wife is the one claiming the infidelity.
Of his wife, who he is currently separated from, the ?Party of Five? actor told Radar Online, ?Melissa is ridiculous... she has no idea what she's talking about and she's behaving like a child."
He went on to defend Rachel by saying, "She's been wrongfully persecuted by the media and because of what the media has done to me after I was nearly murdered, I relate to her."

Michael Jackson's Doctor Gets January 4th Court Date
Keeping up to date on the latest legal happenings, Joe and Katherine Jackson were side by side as they attended a hearing regarding Dr Conrad Murray's manslaughter case in Los Angeles, CA on Monday (August 23).
Joined by their son Randy, the parents of the late Michael Jackson made their way into the courtroom as the judge revealed that Dr Murray's preliminary hearing is to take place on January 4, 2011.
The court action comes after Dr Murray previously admitted to administering a powerful dose of the anesthetic propofol just before the King of Pop passed on at his Los Angeles home in June 2009.
Having entered a not guilty plea to the charge of involuntary manslaughter, Murray's defense team and prosecutors will gather in January to present their sides before the judge determines whether the charges merit a full trial.

Katy Perry rose to the top of the charts with songs about kissing girls, Vegas vacations gone awry and how awesome "California Gurls" are. So, when fans pop Teenage Dream into their boom boxes, they might be surprised to hear Perry show her vulnerable side on the song "Pearl." The ballad is about an outgoing, strong young woman who lets a guy "keep her in the dark." The catch, at the end, is that Perry is actually singing about herself.
The singer admitted that by the time she started working on "Pearl," her album was nearly complete. But, it was missing something. So she headed back into the studio to work on the track. And she thinks it finishes her record in just the right way.
"I did one more song with [producer] Greg Wells, and it was called 'Pearl,' " she explained to MTV News about the track. "And it was kind of just like, 'All right, now I have this crown, and I have all these jewels, and I can put these little jewels into the crown, and I feel like it's a complete presentation, something I'm really proud of.' "
So, after recording Teenage Dream rather quickly, "Pearl" became its crowning jewel.
"It only took six months [to make Teenage Dream], which is like lightning speed," she said. "But I think that I wouldn't be starting again with this new record if I didn't feel like this was my best foot forward.
Perry said the project shows her evolving. "It's an evolvement, but it's not a dis-attachment. ... My life is a little bit different, and I'm taking a verbal snapshot right now."

A man reportedly committed suicide at a concert featuring the band Swell Season on Thursday. According to The Associated Press, 32-year-old San Jose resident Michael Edward Pickels leapt to his death in front of an audience of hundreds at the band's show at the Mountain Winery in Saratoga, California.
Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office spokesman Rick Sung said that Pickels jumped from a roof shielding the stage around 10 p.m. and fell onto the stage near Season frontman Glen Hansard. Hansard reportedly stopped playing and approached Pickels' body. He was later pronounced dead after attempts to revive him failed.
"The band, crew and all involved with them are shocked and saddened by the death that occurred at the August 19th show. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the deceased, his family and friends," the group said in a statement posted on their website. "Making and performing music is what the band has always done in good times and in bad. Our hope is that in this communal experience tonight we can somehow help our own grieving process after what we just witnessed. The show will most certainly be different than any other we have ever played."
The duo, who are known for winning an Oscar for Best Original Song in 2008, added that they plan to continue their current tour. According to their website, Season has shows scheduled for Saturday (August 21) and Sunday.
"We wish to continue to be sensitive to family and friends of this individual and hope that in performing it is not viewed as a selfish act. We have not come to this decision lightly," the band said. "We continue to have them at the forefront of our minds and hearts."

Danny DeVito to Accept Award for Michael Douglas As Star Undergoes Treatment for Tumor
Danny DeVito will reportedly accept an award at the Zurich Film Festival on behalf of pal Michael Douglas as the star undergoes chemotherapy. According to The Hollywood Reporter, DeVito will accept the Golden Icon Award on behalf of Douglas on October 3, an appearance Douglas canceled in order to treat a throat tumor. The two have starred together in such films as 'One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest' and 'Romancing the Stone.' Last week, news broke that Douglas had discovered a tumor in his throat and would soon be undergoing treatment.

Donning a dapper suit, complete with a gentlemanly pocket square, the singer and rapper is surrounded by midcentury glamour as he takes the mic for a commercial touting his VMA appearance. The Toronto lyricist makes a dramatic entrance under a brightly lit "Drake" marquee and steps onto a stage populated by a sprawling big band sporting white jackets.
"I get to channel my inner [Frank] Sinatra," Drizzy — who is up for Moonmen for Best Hip-Hop Video and Best Male Video — said on the set. "In the acting world, you gotta have reference points. I like to get into characters."
Sinatra isn't the only legend that influences Drake's gentlemanly style in the promo. The "Degrassi" actor-turned-chart-topping MC also looked to Denzel Washington's troubled trumpeter in Spike Lee's 1990 flick "Mo' Better Blues."
" 'Mo' Better Blues' is like one of my favorite movies of all time. This reminds me of Denzel, who played a character [called] Bleek Gilliam," Drake explained. "I'm trying to channel that today."
Drake may have mined the mannerisms of a pair of jazzy icons for the promo, but the period set and crew of extras donning retro looks also helped the MC get in character.
"There's a '50s theme. They got it right, though. They got the set and the wardrobe," Drake said. "I feel like I'm here."

Lauryn Hill is making a much-heralded return to the stage — and the spotlight — at this year's Rock the Bells Tour.
However, die-hard fans of the Grammy-winning singer/MC hope the appearance breaks L-Boogie's decade-long tradition of mounting rare and spotty shows.
Hill, who shot to fame as a member of the pioneering hip-hip trio the Fugees, became a critically-acclaimed media darling and the subject of arguably cultish fan worship after the breakout success of her solo debut, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. Yet, in the wake of the chart-topping success of Miseducation and her then record-setting five Grammy wins in 1999, the artist began to withdraw from the world stage. Sure, she rocked the VMAs, scored a Best Dressed nod from Vogue, and continued to nab a bevy of music trophies.
However, by 2001 Hill had nearly vanished from the scene. She released the live album MTV Unplugged No. 2.0 in 2002 but since then, public sightings of Hill have been relegated to the odd festival appearance.

»After Miseducation dropped in 1998, Hill grabbed Outkast as the opening act for her first solo tour which kicked off in February 1999. "It's really kind of unlike anything in hip-hop before. Yet, in the wake of the chart-topping success of Miseducation and her then record-setting five Grammy wins in 1999, the artist began to withdraw from the world stage. Sure, she rocked the VMAs, scored a Best Dressed nod from Vogue, and continued to nab a bevy of music trophies.
However, by 2001 Hill had nearly vanished from the scene. She released the live album MTV Unplugged No. 2.0 in 2002 but since then, public sightings of Hill have been relegated to the odd festival appearance.

Jason Derülo is riding high with two MTV Video Music Awards nominations and hit songs like "Whatcha Say" and "In My Head" under his belt. But before the Moonmen nods and chart-topping tracks, Derülo's ride was a major problem.
"Everybody else had nice cars, so my dad bought me this white Chevy. People would call it 'The White Jellybean,' " Derülo says on the episode of "When I Was 17" that premieres on MTV Saturday at 11 a.m. "[It was] very, very embarrassing."
One of Derülo's pals, Frank, remembers the rising hitmaker's vehicle failed to strike a chord with the ladies. "I know girls were not impressed by this car," Frank says.
The Florida native, who was 17 in 2006, recalls that his raggedy wheels put his chances with one lady in jeopardy.
"I can remember one time I took this girl on a date and I picked her up in this car. I could tell she was a little surprised [because] I didn't have any air conditioning. I put the windows down, like this [makes hand-cranking motion]," Derülo says. "We're good, we're flowing, we're riding." But the singer's smooth drive didn't last long.
"Suddenly I hear it go 'boom, boom, boom, boom.' I just try to keep going. We're still riding ... but I know that we got a flat tire," Derülo recalls. Trying to maintain one's cool while tooling around with a busted tire is already a challenge. And the singer was faced with an even bigger problem: "But I also know [that] I don't know how to change the tire."

Looking happily in love, Ali Fedotowsky and Roberto Martinez were busy spending the afternoon partaking in a romantic stroll in Los Angeles, California on Saturday (August 10).
Following a smooth drive along the shoreline in the "Bachelorette" babe's newly purchased VW convertible ride, the loved-up couple grabbed up lunch before embarking on their walk through the shopping district - where they ended up buying colorful matching sunglasses.
As for their upcoming nuptials, Ali recently told People magazine of her ceremony music plans, ?I want it to be simple: one person, one instrument and that?s it. I think absolutely a violinist for that. My favorite music is like Jack Johnson, Schuyler Fisk ? people who sit down with a guitar and sing. That?s what I want at our wedding ? that rawness.?
Come reception time, guests need to be ready to pick up the pace, as the soon-to-be Mrs Roberto Martinez tells, ?Our wedding will be a lot of dancing and celebrating. Wes Proves 'Love Don't Come Easy' on 'Bachelor Pad'
Wes Hayden, who so famously joined "The Bachelorette" on Jillian Harris's season to further his music career and who is alleged to have had a girlfriend back home, now turns his musical attention on Gia Allemand, who finished third on Jake Pavelka's season of "The Bachelor, on this week's "Bachelor Pad."
Wes, who has admitted to having developed an attraction to Gia, serenades her with "Love Don't Come Easy."
"When I hear someone like Wes sing that song and I just look at him and see the passion in his eyes and I see show real he is. He is putting his heart out for the whole world to see. That touches me. That makes me vulnerable," says Gia, who has to be careful because she has a boyfriend back home.

Kate Gosselin: Boscov's Back to School Family Shopping
Getting ready for another school year, Kate Gosselin was back out with her brood of eight children to load up on supplies and clothes in Reading, Pennsylvania on Saturday (August 21).
According to a paparazzo source on the scene, bodyguard Steve Neild drove the family van as the group pulled into the local Boscov's retail center for their bulk purchases.
With a film crew from TLC was there to capture all of the action. Kate quickly popped over to the driver's side so the cameramen could start shooting scenes.
The back to school efforts follow a recent family trip to Bald Head Island, of which Kate blogged, "We not only returned [to Bald Head Island] this year, but also hope to return each year and have decided to make this our Gosselin summer tradition ... To match our many Gosselin winter traditions. To me, there is nothing like a well-made tradition to help us reflect on the years past as well as project forward to the years ahead!"
She added, "Thanks Bald Head Island for providing the rest, relaxation and connection this family -- as well as so many other families we've had the privilege of meeting here -- needs year after year after year!"
